Pau d'Arco, scientifically known as Tabebuia impetiginosa or Tabebuia avellanedae, is a tree native to the rainforests of Central and South America.

Wild harvested Pau d'Arco typically refers to the inner bark of the tree, which is harvested sustainably from mature trees in its natural habitat. The bark is typically reddish-brown in colour with a distinct woody aroma.

Pau d’ arco has intrinsic chemical factors, quinone lapachol,  that fight fungus and mould. It has been used for thousands of years as an anti-fungal remedy, including treatments for candida, herpes, ringworm and other parasite infections.Quinone Lapachol, which is found in the inner bark of the tree also have anti- tumour properties.
