Di Tao Astragalus

A powerful immunity-boosting herb with antibacterial, antiviral and anti-inflammatory properties.

Full Description

Astragalus (Astragalus membranaceus) is a flowering plant; its root has been used for centuries in traditional Chinese Medicine.

Astragalus is believed to prolong life and used to treat a wide variety of ailments, such as fatigue, allergies and the common cold. It’s used against heart disease, diabetes and other conditions.

Astragalus is also considered an adaptogen. Adaptogens are a class of natural substances that are believed to stimulate the body's resistance to physical, environmental, and emotional stressors.

The chemicals in Astragalus also seem to stimulate the immune system and reduce swelling. It is commonly known as huáng qí (mandarin), milkvetch, locoweed and goat's-thorn. It is a member of the pea family.

It is believed in ancient times that its presence softens pain.

Astragalus has shown to activate telomerase enzyme and protecting mitochondria, resulting in healthier cell longevity and slows the aging process.
