raw oats and macadamia cookie with amla – recipe

Cookies are comfort snacks.

I see every meals, snacks as an opportunity to nourish my body and mind.

These cookies are no exceptions,  packed with grounding whole food nutrition with a boost of rejuvenating Ayurvedic herb, amla.

In raw, gluten free and paleo world oats are not often used in people’s diet. I did not use them myself for a while as I could not find oats that I wanted to use.

Now that I finally sourced gluten free/ uncontaminated oat grouts I have been using more oats in my recipes and loving it.

you can make oat flour by processing rolled oats in the blender. I have sprouted oat grouts, dehydrate and then blend then into flour.



1 cup oat grouts

1/4 cup yacon powder


2tbs coconut oil

1tsp amla powder

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1/4 tsp nutneg

1/4 cup sweetener of your choice

1/4 cup macadamia

1/4 cup water
