Raw vegan hemp bar with gelatinised maca

Keto-friendly, cashew free

 

base:

3/4 cup activated and dehydrated almond

1/4 cup hemp seeds

1/4 cup coconut flour

2 tbs carob

pinch of salt

1/8 – 1/4 tsp monk fruit

2 tsp plant based milk or water

 

Food process all the ingredents except milk.

Add the milk slowly to achive bliss ball consistency

Press onto a base of mould and chill while making the topping

 

topping:

1/2 cup hazelnut butter (activated prefered)

1/4 cup coconut yoghurt or coconut cream

1/6 tsp monk fruit

1 tbs gelatinised maca

1 tsp cinnamon

1 tbs cacao butter, melted

Food process (or blend if you’d prefer smoother texture) all the ingredients except cacao butter.

Add cacao butter and gently mix togher

Spread on top of the base and chill till firm

 

Enrob into chocolate and serve

 

Gelatinised maca is not raw. It is how Maca is traditionally consumed and many report that its easier to assimilate. Our gelatinised maca isa blend of yellow, red and black maca from Peru.
