Qi (chi) – one of the three treasures

Qi (chi) can be translated as “vitality” in English.

If you use the candle metaphor Jing is the wax of a candle and Qi is the flame. It is the energy that you obtain through breathing, eating, drinking as well as inspirations and thoughts. There are different qi stored in our different organs.
