We believe strongly and emphasises on organic and whole unprocessed foods to achieve healthy and creative dishes.

Come and join us and learn the fundamental and introduction to raw food.

In our casual and fun class you will be learning all the basic yet important skill to start and continue on, to fully embrace this dynamic cuisine and lifestyle.

Having been in this field of health and wellness over 10 years, studied macrobiotic, holistic nutrition and long time researcher in everything health Yoko will be sharing what she has learned with you in an open and non judgemental environment.

You will have an opportunity to learn about

– the best oil to use

-types of sweeteners for different occasions and body requirements

– difference between juicing and blending

– equipments

-what to be mindful about when it comes to your greens

-benefit of raw food

-gut health

– importance of soaking nuts and seeds

-seasonal eating

-tips when you are on plant based diet and key nutrients to be aware of

-energy of foods (ying-yang philosophy)

You will be shown basic raw food techniques

green smoothie

adding super foods to your drinks to optimise your health

kale salad

vegetable noodles with tomato cream sauce

mandolin beetroot stack

plant based sushi rolls

kelp noodle with tahini teriyaki dressing

vanilla cheesecake and variations

chocolate brownie

chocolate mousse


the numbers are strictly limited

you will be receiving all the recipes and tastings . All the recipes do not require a dehydrator and you can start using them straight away at home!

Payment policy
Payment is to be paid in full to secure a seat in one of our cooking classes. You will not be confirmed unless full payment has been made. Once you have paid in full, you will be booked for your class. All prices include GST.
Please note all purchases made are non-refundable and non-transferable to another class date unless previously discussed
Cancellation and Transfer Policy
Shokuiku reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a class for reasons concerning Shokuiku. If a class has been cancelled due to low attendance, sickness or any other matter all attendances will be notified within 48 hours of the class commencement date, and the option to reschedule to another date, or full refunds provided.
In the event a student needs to cancel a booked class, cancellation more than 7 days prior to the date of the class, the option to reschedule to another class is available (subject to availability within that class). Cancellation of a class 5-3 days prior to the scheduled class, a $45 fee to reschedule the class shall apply. A cancellation of a class within 48 hours of the scheduled class, the full amount of the class will be forfeited and no option to reschedule will be available.
